A SNATCH OF, 2015

"A Snatch of" is a first fragment of a research on memory and a research on the interface between virtual images and my body. Memories are traces, paths and markings within us. Perhaps we are only made of memory ...
? Images from the film "The Turin Horse" by Bela Tarr inspired me. People and landscape are empty in their presence and seem to exist only through their memory. Like a used plastic bag that gets caught on a bush and is meaningless and empty in its present, but has a memory in itself. "Snatch of" does not want to tell a story. But it wants to draw pictures and create moods. It tells of the desire to capture some moments from the past and keep them in the present. Situations appear, but you can't see them to their end because they disappear into oblivion. Thus a collage is created, images are transformed, superimposed and disappear again.
