Machine to become is a series of performance experiments to tackle complex concepts and transform powerful stereotypes through improvising with audience assumptions, stories, sounds and movement.

The project was created in 2016 as part of Oito Solos +1, a platform of Grupo Oito, by dancers/choreographers Caroline Alves and Natalie Riedelsheimer. Since 2019, they have been developing it further with dramaturg Nora Haakh and collaborating with a growing network of women artists.

At this moment, both "Machine to become - Woman'' and "Machine to become - which Witch?" can be booked as a Performance and/or a Workshop. The combination is ideal for festivals or political education programs as it empowers the audience to witness, participate in and experience the process of becoming.
